GamerPhoenyx – What You Should Know?

Who am I?
I am Phil Phoenyx – a pseudonym I chose to synch with GamerPhoenyx. I am just a regular gamer trying to navigate the vastness of the gaming world. I love gaming and have been interested in that since childhood. It was only natural that I came up with a gaming channel on YouTube sooner or later.
What is GamerPhoenyx?
I started this channel in 2018. GamerPhoenyx is dedicated to discovering non-mainstream games. I post reviews, playthroughs, how-tos, breakdowns, share my opinions and experiences about the games I play. When I start playing a game, I make sure I finish it. I will post a video stating my reasons if I am unable to complete a game.
Why non-mainstream games?
Let’s say some games have enormous mainstream potential. Some never get there. Some are waiting to be discovered. I don’t judge a book by its cover. So, I download a game, do a little research and then check its popularity online. If it’s good enough then I take the plunge. There is no hard and fast rule here. I intend to include a few mainstream games shortly.
When do I usually post my videos?
Tuesdays/Thursdays & Fridays – these are the days when I post playthroughs.
Wednesdays & Saturdays – these are days when I post reviews, how-tos, breakdowns, etc. In other words, I do present my voiceovers on topics that I want you to know. Whenever I try out a new game – I will post the review shortly. When I complete a game, I will give an overview of the entire game.
Time: preferable I make sure to post between 11 pm and 12 am IST. That comes to 12:30 pm EST and 5:30 pm GMT. These timings may change with prior notice on my Twitter handles.
There is no hard and fast rule here as there may be days when I am unable to post videos regularly. Yes, consistency is my biggest challenge. I can assure you that no week shall pass with any un-posted videos.
Is GamerPhoenyx dedicated to showcasing only mobile games?
I am focusing on mobile games because my current desktop system does not support any current games. Yes, it’s that old! When I started the channel my desktop PC conked off! So, I was left with little to no choice of starting with mobile games. Besides, most of them are free to play. It may be some time in mid-2022 that I may get a new desktop PC (hopefully).
You would be surprised to know that I prefer PC gaming rather than mobile gaming. So, it is mobile gaming for now, and PC gaming will come around later.
Does GamerPhoenyx have a policy towards gaming?
Yes, you can call it a principle. I do not like hacks and will never take that route to complete a level. I make my way and discover it sooner or later. I do not play a game just for the heck of it. I love to deep dive to uncover its secrets that are helpful for you and me. At the end of the day, playing a game should serve its purpose of being full of fun. I do not intend to break that intention.
